A chair can look roomy in a photo and feel low when you sit down. A sleeping pad can fit your height and still crowd the tent doorway. Use dimensions to plan the whole setup, not just each piece on its own.
Start with your seat
Compare the stated seat height, width and depth when available. Overall chair height includes the backrest, so it is not the same as seat height. If a measurement you need is not listed, contact us rather than estimating from the photo.
A small stool is useful near the tent entrance, while an upright chair suits meals and a recliner needs more room around it. Pocketbreak opens to about 10.83 × 9.25 × 10.04 in; Longpause has a larger listed 36.61 × 24.80 × 16.93 in open size and an adjustable backrest. Allow extra clearance as a reclining chair changes position.
Measure the sleep surface
Check both length and width. Our Pressrest pad lists 74.80 × 23.62 in, while Honeygrid lists the same length and width with a 1.97 in inflated thickness. Ridgeline’s stated bed length is 75.59 in. Leave room for your pillow arrangement and how you naturally sleep.
Thickness is not an insulation rating. None of these measurements tells you an R-value or a safe temperature range. Plan for the expected conditions and do not assume a rating that is not stated.
Use the tent floor as a layout
Draw the floor dimensions on paper and add each pad at the same scale. Greenline’s floor is 86.61 × 78.74 in, Woodland is 78.74 in square, and Ember is 78.74 × 47.24 in. Those numbers let you compare space without relying on an occupancy label alone.
Leave space for bags, the doorway and movement. Tent walls slope, and cots lift your sleep surface into a narrower part of the interior, so a cot needs a separate clearance check. Never assume that floor fit guarantees cot fit.

Check the small print before loading
Review package contents, assembly steps and care notes for each item. Keep folding joints clear, use level ground and let the gear dry before storage. If your setup depends on one precise measurement, ask us before buying.
